The bodies of all our single-sided presses are cast in semi-steel (50 per cent) and made with a Girder-type frame, which is designed to place the metal where greater strength is obtained. Without increase of weight, the press has a stronger build than other types and also features an attractive design.

The press screw is made of 3 per cent nickel steel. It is specially heat-treated and capable of withstanding the combination of great torsional and bending strains that are imposed on it. The guides are generally milled out in jigs to absolute alignment.

The technique of drop forging is used for the slides, clip stops, holding-down dogs, puller-off and fly handles.
The slide is tested to guaranteed alignment, allowing the material to be finished off with greater precision.

- H5 at 2 ton capacity
